Riverside Clean Up Day!

Please join us for a Riverside Cemetery Cleanup Day 

Thursday July 20th from 6-8:30-ish PM

Come when you can – Leave when you must!

• Trash pickup
• Flowerbed weeding
    o All raised beds
    o Iris bed

Cold bottled water and trash bags https://naturheilpraxis-hauri.ch/ will be provided.  

Please wear sturdy shoes, hats, gloves, bug spray, sunscreen!!!

Public Hearing – RIVERSIDE NEEDS YOU!

RTD and BNSF railway have filed a petition medizinrezeptfrei24.de with the state of Colorado to move the current entrance to Riverside Cemetery.  

The proposed new location of the entrance, at the north end of the cemetery on York street, impacts not only the accessibility of the office to visitors and the safety and security of the cemetery, but also it will greatly alter this historic landmark.

RIVERSIDE CEMETERY NEEDS YOU!

There will be a hearing to discuss this change and collect public comment.  Please make time in your schedule to attend in person and make your thoughts known about this change.

The hearing will be:

Commission hearing room A

Please attend and oppose the York street entrance.  Alternative entrances (such as one on Race Street), while more expensive, are viable and preferred.

March full moon photo shoot at Riverside

The Fairmount Heritage Foundation will be hosting a full moon photo shoot at Riverside Cemetery on the night of March 11th.

December board meeting

Please join us on Monday, December 12th at 7:00 PM for the Friends of Historic Riverside Cemetery board meeting.  Success from 2016 will be discussed along with plans for 2017.

Painting project is under way!

Our 2016 painting project is under way!

Volunteer Opportunity August 21st and 28th

You are invited to join the Friends of Historic Riverside Cemetery in a painting project at Riverside!  

We’ll be prepping and painting the planter just north of the office on the mornings of August 21st and 28th, from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Water, snacks, sunblock and painting supplies will be provided.  Bring gloves, a hat, and a small stool or pad for your knees as this planter is low to the ground and much of the work will be kneeling or seated. Go to Themonstercycle and learn more.
